Saudi Arabia launches property registration for 36,000 plots

The Real Estate General Authority has officially launched in-kind registration for 36,090 real estate plots across the Eastern Province and the Hail Region in Saudi Arabia. The initiative includes 30,838 plots in the Eastern Province and 5,252 plots in Hail.

The registration process is scheduled to run from September 27, 2026, through December 31, 2026. In the Eastern Province, the rollout covers various neighborhoods in Mulayjah, Al-Qulaib, Al-Qaysumah, Hafar Al-Batin, and Al-Dhabiba, as well as parts of Dammam, Dhahran, Abqaiq, and Al-Khafji.

In the Hail Region, the registration includes parts of Baqaa, along with areas in Fad and Al-Ajfar. The Authority stated that neighborhood selection is based on specific criteria and that further regions will be announced in future phases.

Property owners can complete the initial registration via the Real Estate Registry electronic platform or through designated service centers. To complete the process, owners must possess a title deed that meets all legal requirements.
