Saudi Arabia road crash kills nine, including seven family members
Nine people were killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision on the Al-Uqair-Al-Uyun road in the Al-Ahsa governorate of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The accident, which involved extensive vehicle damage, claimed the lives of seven members of a single family, including a husband, wife, three sons, and two daughters. Two young men traveling in a second vehicle also died in the crash.
The Eastern Province Traffic Department reported that preliminary findings suggest the collision occurred after one vehicle suddenly swerved. Emergency responders from the Civil Defence and Saudi Red Crescent attended the scene to extricate victims trapped in the wreckage. Authorities are currently completing the necessary legal procedures regarding the incident.
