Gulf Football Association announces referees for Khaleeji Cup 27

The Gulf Football Association has announced the referee appointments for the fourth day of the 27th Khaleeji Cup (Khaleeji Al-Diyar Al-Arabiya 27) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The matches, scheduled for Sunday, September 27, are part of the second round of Group Two.

Jordanian referee Adham Khadameh will officiate the match between Yemen and Qatar at King Abdullah Sports City, assisted by Mohammed Al-Khalaf and Ahmed Al-Ruwaili, with Iraqi Zaid Thamer serving as the fourth official. The VAR team for this match includes Saudi Sultan Al-Harbi and China's Fu Ming.

Kuwaiti referee Abdullah Jamali will lead the match between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium, assisted by Saud Al-Shamali and Ali Talib Jarraq, with Portuguese Joao Pinheiro as the fourth official. The VAR team features Saudi Abdullah Al-Shehri and Kuwaiti Abdullah Arab.

The tournament features a mix of regional and international officials, including referees from Morocco, Jordan, China, the Netherlands, and Portugal, to facilitate the exchange of expertise. Additionally, the tournament's organizing committee has confirmed that the final match will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at King Abdullah Sports City.
