Saudi Arabian enterprises shift AI focus toward autonomous IT

A global survey by Riverbed on the state of autonomous IT operations reveals that 90% of Saudi Arabian organizations report that their AI initiatives have met or exceeded original return on investment (ROI) goals. The findings indicate a shift from AI experimentation toward execution-focused adoption and the pursuit of highly autonomous or human-supervised IT operations within the next two years.

While 54% of Saudi respondents express high confidence in their AI governance and human-oversight capabilities, 77% remain hesitant to allow AI to make operational decisions without human approval. Additionally, 93% of respondents believe that AI assurance, observability, and governance will become critical IT domains.

Despite the momentum, infrastructure challenges persist; while 95% of organizations view multi-domain visibility as important, only 22% currently possess fully unified visibility across networks, applications, endpoints, and cloud environments.
