Saudi Arabia is seeing increased private sector investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure and adoption capabilities, aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.

In early September 2026, NTT DATA announced the launch of an ‘AI Factory Lab’ in Riyadh. The facility is designed to help organizations transition from AI experimentation to business outcomes by integrating full-stack solutions from partners such as Cisco and NVIDIA. Simultaneously, Desert Technologies and the Swiss-based CTS Group formed a joint venture, ‘CTS-DT’, to develop advanced data center solutions optimized for AI, aiming for an initial annual production capacity of 300 megawatts.

Furthering digital expansion, NourNet introduced an AI Agent Platform at the LEAP 2026 event, intended to help organizations deploy intelligent agents locally within Saudi data centers. NourNet also announced an expansion of its main data center to a 10 MW capacity.

Strategic partnerships continue to shape the sector. NTT DATA is collaborating with Red Sea Global (RSG) to develop AI-powered smart infrastructure, utilizing digital twins and private 5G networks for destinations like The Red Sea and AMAALA. In the cloud and public sectors, ZainTECH has partnered with AWS to boost AI adoption across Saudi government, financial, and healthcare industries. Additionally, Nutanix signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture to modernize digital infrastructure through hybrid multicloud technologies.
