Saudi Defense Minister expands military partnerships with Italy and Greece

Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz has held high-level discussions with defense officials from Italy and Greece to strengthen bilateral military partnerships and regional security.

In a phone call with Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, the two leaders focused on enhancing defense cooperation, specifically in military training and defense manufacturing. The discussions aimed to align with Saudi Vision 2030 goals regarding the localization of military industries and the transfer of technical knowledge. Both nations emphasized their shared views on counter-terrorism and regional stability.

In a separate meeting in Riyadh, Prince Khalid met with Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias. The talks centered on expanding military cooperation, exchanging expertise, and increasing joint field coordination and training.
