Saudi Energy Minister highlights economic transformation at WPC Energy Congress

During the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, defended the speed of the Kingdom’s economic transformation under Vision 2030. He asserted that the scale and pace of the reform program, which aims to diversify the economy beyond crude oil through investments in tourism, industry, and renewable energy, has no historical equivalent.

In conjunction with the congress, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman visited the Egyptian petroleum sector pavilion alongside Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, and Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud Esmat. The pavilion highlighted Egyptian investment opportunities in oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals, as well as the technical capabilities of Egyptian companies in drilling, construction, and CNG services.
