Saudi Foreign Minister leads delegation to UN General Assembly

Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has arrived in New York to lead the Kingdom’s delegation at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week.

The delegation includes several high-ranking officials, such as Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States; Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Envoy; and Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. Other members include Deputy Minister of Health Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, and Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations.

The Kingdom’s participation aims to strengthen international cooperation and multilateralism. The delegation is scheduled to engage in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with leaders of friendly nations and international organizations. These discussions will focus on political, security, and economic coordination, regional and international stability, and addressing priority global challenges.
