Saudi Ministry of Interior launches ‘Balagh’ security awareness initiative

The Saudi Ministry of Interior has launched a new initiative titled ‘Balagh’ to enhance security awareness and foster a culture of reporting behaviors that may impact community safety. The program aims to strengthen the partnership between the public and security authorities by encouraging citizens and residents to report risks through official channels, such as the 911 unified security operations centers and the ‘Kolluna Amn’ application.

Starting October 4, 2026, the initiative will remain open for 60 days, inviting individuals and entities from both the public and private sectors to participate. Participants are encouraged to contribute innovative ideas and creative content, including video clips, infographic designs, and written or visual media reports that highlight the importance of security reporting.

The initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the Arab Technical Contracting Company to reach a wider audience through modern communication methods. The goal is to transform community members from passive recipients of awareness into active partners in maintaining national security and preventing potential dangers.
