Saudi Real Estate Registry begins registration in Riyadh region

The Real Estate Registry has announced the commencement of the first in-kind registration for 28,547 real estate parcels across various cities and governorates in the Riyadh region.

Targeted areas include Al-Harq, Al-Artawiyah, Jalajil, and parts of Riyadh city such as Al-Aziziyah, Al-Ha'ir, and Al-Sulay. Other locations involved include Al-Hayyaniyah, Arwa, Rawdat Sudair, Al-Jamsh, Al-Qasab, Al-Quwayiyah, Al-Majma'ah, Al-Ruwaydah, Rumah, Sajir, Darmaa, Afif, and Houtat Sudair.

Property owners within these announced zones are required to register their properties via the Real Estate Registry platform or mobile application before the deadline on Thursday, January 28, 2027. Completing registration within this timeframe allows owners to utilize registry services for real estate transactions and avoid penalties or fines stipulated by the in-kind registration system. The initiative aims to increase reliability and transparency in the sector by building a comprehensive, unified real estate database for the Kingdom.
