Save Europe Act rally delivers over 530,000 signatures outside European Parliament

Belgium’s Council of State overturned a mayoral ban just hours before a planned protest, allowing the Save Europe Act’s remigration rally to proceed on 15 July in front of the European Parliament. Around 125‑200 supporters gathered at Place du Luxembourg under police guard and handed more than 530,000 petition signatures to the EU institutions.

The demonstration was organized by the Save Europe Act campaign, which calls for an EU‑wide halt to non‑European immigration, faster deportations and a voluntary remigration framework. Speakers included Austrian identitarian activist Martin Sellner, who told the crowd “We won,” Dutch commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek, and former Vlaams Belang MP Dries Van Langenhove. No arrests or major disturbances were reported.

The rally marks a symbolic victory for the far‑right campaign after a previous court ruling in 2024 had also struck down a ban on a similar event. Organisers aim to reach one million signatures to force the European Commission to consider the citizen‑initiated proposal.
