Sébaco and San Isidro residents support constitutional reform

In the municipalities of Sébaco and San Isidro within the Matagalpa department, residents and local authorities have expressed unanimous support for the ‘Hay Patria’ constitutional reform. During a consultation process led by the National Assembly, various sectors including students, teachers, producers, and local officials participated in the second phase of the reform's consultation.

Dr. Gustavo Porras, representing the National Assembly and the Special Constitutional Commission, stated that the reforms are intended to preserve peace, stability, and security in Nicaragua. The consultation aims to gather input from the ‘Pueblo Presidente’ to ensure the transformation aligns with national objectives. Local supporters, including healthcare workers, noted that the proposed constitutional changes are expected to strengthen community health models and social programs aimed at poverty reduction and the well-being of future generations.
