Scandiano students participate in road safety education program
More than 200 students from the Gobetti high school in Scandiano participated in ‘Re-Move Safely’, a road safety awareness and education event. Organized by the National Union of Driving Schools and Automotive Consulting Studies (Unasca) in collaboration with the State Police and the Bonacini dealership, the initiative provided interactive learning stations for the fifth-year students.
Participants engaged with various tools, including telelasers to detect vehicle speed, a ‘seatbelt wheel’ to demonstrate the effects of seatbelts during vehicle rollovers, and interactive mats paired with glasses that simulate the effects of alcohol and drugs. Students holding learner's permits also conducted driving trials with instructors. Mayor Matteo Nasciuti described the initiative as an investment in safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
