Scandinavian Airlines partners with Lykke Coffee Farms

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has announced a partnership with Lykke Coffee Farms to introduce a new coffee selection across all routes starting in February 2027. The coffee is being specifically developed to be altitude-optimized for consumption at 35,000 feet, accounting for how taste and aroma change during air travel.

In addition to in-flight service, the coffee will be available in SAS airport lounges. The partnership also integrates with the airline's loyalty program, allowing passengers to earn EuroBonus points through coffee-related purchases on the SAS Lykke platform.

Lykke Coffee Farms operates a direct-trade model, working closely with farmers in Uganda to ensure traceability from farm to cup without the use of intermediaries. This collaboration aims to enhance the premium onboard experience for SAS passengers while showcasing Scandinavian coffee culture and ethical sourcing practices.
