Scania unveils new Dynamic series and electric vehicles at IAA Transportation

Scania has unveiled two strategic product developments at the IAA Transportation exhibition: the Scania Dynamic SUPER A4x2NB 430R and the Scania Dynamic BEV A6x2NB 44 R. The SUPER series represents the company’s most advanced and efficient internal combustion engine and powertrain system to date.

Key updates include the new Scania Dynamic cab, designed to improve driver comfort and retention. The cabin features updated interior color schemes, new fabrics, improved lighting, an evolved audio system, and ergonomic seat updates. Practical additions include a 15W magnetic wireless charger and a ventilated external compartment for wet or dirty gear. For rest, the cabin offers a reclining bed with a backrest adjustable up to 60 degrees.

To improve energy efficiency, Scania has implemented aerodynamic design updates such as digital rearview mirrors, aerodynamic side skirts and wind deflectors, a redesigned front face, and new door handles. These changes aim to reduce total fuel consumption by approximately 2 percent depending on operation. Additionally, the BEV A6x2NB 44 R fully electric tractor highlights the company’s commitment to electric mobility and regional distribution solutions.
