Schaeffler to launch unified vehicle lifetime solutions portfolio

Schaeffler is preparing to launch its unified aftermarket portfolio, ‘Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions’, at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. The division aims to address diverse repair needs across internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles by integrating mechanical, electronic, and software-based solutions.

The integration of Vitesco Technologies is expected to strengthen Schaeffler’s capabilities in electronics, software, and control systems. The expanded offering covers five key areas: transmission, engine, chassis and body, thermal management, and electric mobility. This includes components such as air intake, exhaust gas treatment, fuel supply, injectors, and high-pressure pumps.

From a financial perspective, analysts maintain a ‘Hold’ rating on Schaeffler AG, citing challenges in the e-mobility and robotics segments. Projections suggest e-mobility margins may remain between 0% and -4% through 2028, while legacy powertrain and chassis operations remain the primary drivers of consistent profitability.
