Schafhof Freising hosts new digital and interactive art exhibitions

The Schafhof Freising, a European art forum in Upper Bavaria, has launched two new exhibitions titled ‘Artists in Motion’ and ‘Maotik: ZufallsBlüten’ focusing on the themes of play and chance. Running until November 29, the exhibitions feature works from seven European artists alongside an interactive digital installation by French artist MAOTIK.

The ‘Bloom’ installation by MAOTIK uses sensors to respond to audience movement in real-time, creating an audiovisual environment of light, sound, and digital flowers within the venue's barrel vault.

Other regional news includes the renovation of the evangelical village church in Hergershausen, estimated to cost nearly one million euros, and a political dispute in Freising regarding the district's failure to submit a statement on new airport noise protection zones. Additionally, the municipality of Eching has decided to end its climate partnership with the Peruvian province of Urubamba.
