Scheduled electricity outages hit Sarajevo and multiple Montenegrin towns

Electric utilities announced planned maintenance that will cause temporary power cuts in parts of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 29 July and again on 30 July. The outages affect neighborhoods supplied by the Importane 2 transformer station, as well as areas served by the Centar BiH, IV Crnogorske brigade, Mejtaš, Panjina Kula 2, Japalaci, Humska 1, Donja Jošanica 1 and Kasindolska 2 stations. The longest interruption is expected in the Sokolović Kolonija district, lasting from midnight until 15:30 on 30 July.

On the same day, Montenegro’s electric distribution system (CEDIS) scheduled extensive temporary shutdowns across many municipalities. Specific streets and villages in Podgorica, Danijelovgrad, Nikšić, Plužine, Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Andrijevica, Berane, Plav, Petnjica, Rožaje, Bijelo Polje, Mojkovac, and Kolašin are slated for outages between 07:00 and 16:00, with some areas facing brief interruptions. Residents are advised to plan activities accordingly.
