Schoenstatt Movement marks major anniversaries in Paraguay and the US

The Schoenstatt Movement is marking significant milestones through celebrations in the United States and Paraguay.

In Minnesota, the Schoenstatt Family is preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Jubilee Family Shrine at Schoenstatt on the Lake in Sleepy Eye. Scheduled for September 18-20, 2026, the event honors the shrine, which is a replica of the original Schoenstatt Shrine in Germany. The site serves as a center for retreats and reflection for the Midwest region.

In Paraguay, approximately 400 people gathered in Tupãrenda to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Secular Institute of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. The celebration included a solemn Eucharist of Thanksgiving at the Church of Santa María de la Trinidad, honoring a century of mission and dedication by the Sisters.
