Schwalbe and Shimano Launch New Tire and Gravel Shoe Lines

German tyre maker Schwalbe is simplifying its Tour range for 2026 by grouping tyres into three usage‑based families—Marathon, Motion and Hybrid—and cutting its catalogue by 30 %. The new labeling shows the family, the PRO level, model and size, making selection easier for cyclists.

Japanese component producer Shimano has introduced the RX710, a gravel shoe that borrows technology from its premium S‑PHYRE RX910. The shoe features a carbon‑reinforced midsole, dual BOA straps and removable Pontoon cleats, and is priced at €249.99, positioned as a more affordable premium option.

Both announcements aim to broaden product accessibility while targeting specific cycling disciplines.
