Schwarz Digits and SAP launch RISE with SAP on STACKIT cloud

Schwarz Digits and SAP have announced the launch of ‘RISE with SAP on STACKIT’, making the STACKIT cloud platform available as a hyperscaler infrastructure for SAP’s cloud-ERP offering. The service is commercially available immediately, with technical deployment scheduled to begin in November 2026.

According to Schwarz Digits, STACKIT is currently the only European hyperscaler offering RISE with SAP. The partnership aims to provide an alternative to US-dominated cloud infrastructures, specifically targeting companies that prioritize data sovereignty, privacy, and compliance when migrating mission-critical SAP workloads from on-premises data centers to the cloud.

Schwarz Digits noted that STACKIT already manages over 1,000 IT services daily for Schwarz Gruppe companies, including Lidl and Kaufland. Regarding costs, the company stated that the offering maintains price parity with other certified infrastructure providers within the RISE with SAP program, meaning customers can access European data protection standards without a financial premium.
