Various science and technology events are scheduled across Romania to promote research and STEAM education.

In Sighetu Marmației, the European Researchers' Night – SCIENCE4FUTURE IV will take place on September 25, 2026, at the Babeș-Bolyai University campus. Part of a European Commission initiative, the event aims to connect the public with scientific results. Topics include tourism experience design, catacomb counting, and destination management. The project is a collaboration involving Babeș-Bolyai University, the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Cluj-Napoca, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași, and the Bistrița-Năsăud Museum Complex.

Additionally, the Science Fair – Științescu & friends 2026 will be held at the Water Museum in Timișoara on September 26, 2026. The fair focuses on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) projects developed by partners in Timiș, Arad, and Hunedoara. Activities include chemistry and physics experiments, robotics, 3D printing, paleontology, and biodiversity explorations, designed to engage children, youth, and adults.
