Scoot to launch new flights to Guiyang, China
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has announced the launch of new services to Guiyang, China, starting 26 October 2026. The airline will operate three weekly flights to the capital of Guizhou province using Airbus A320neo aircraft, providing one-stop connections from Australian cities including Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne via Singapore.
This expansion is part of Scoot’s Northern Winter 2026/2027 schedule. With the addition of Guiyang, the carrier will operate 81 weekly flights to 16 cities in mainland China. The airline is also increasing flight frequencies across several Southeast Asian destinations to meet holiday demand, including Phuket, Hat Yai, Clark, and Kota Kinabalu.
Guiyang is highlighted as an emerging tourism destination known for its mountain landscapes, ethnic minority cultures, and landmarks such as the Huangguoshu Waterfall and Qingyan Ancient Town.
