Scott unveils new Strike electric mountain bike

Scott has unveiled the new generation of the Strike, an electric mountain bike (eMTB) designed with a focus on comfort, accessibility, and ease of maintenance. The bike features an aluminum frame and is powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX motor.

The new platform utilizes a relaxed geometry to provide a more upright riding position, suitable for long routes and versatile trail use. It is equipped with 29-inch wheels and 150 mm of travel both front and rear. To improve durability and weight management, the motor mount and seat tube are manufactured as a single cast aluminum piece, which reduces the number of welds and allows for more precise control over stiffness.

Maintenance is prioritized through design choices such as external cable routing for mechanical components, a removable battery, and pre-installation for lights and fenders. The bike also features a semi-integrated shock to lower the center of gravity and a clean design.
