Scott electric bicycle product launches
Overview
Swiss bicycle brand Scott has expanded its electric bike lineup with the introduction of new models targeting different riding environments.
The company first launched the Sweep, a lightweight urban e-bike designed for city transport. This model utilizes a Bosch Hub Line motor and is positioned as an affordable option for short-distance, car-free trips. It features an aluminum frame and integrated components such as lighting and mounts for racks and fenders.
Following the urban release, Scott unveiled the new generation of the Strike, an electric mountain bike (eMTB). Unlike the urban-focused Sweep, the Strike is designed for trail use, featuring 150 mm of travel and 29-inch wheels. The Strike utilizes a Bosch Performance Line CX motor and incorporates a cast aluminum motor mount and seat tube to improve stiffness and reduce welds.
