Se Eu Fosse Você 3 premieres with new generation of cast

The Brazilian comedy franchise ‘Se Eu Fosse Você’ returns with its third installment, ‘Se Eu Fosse Você 3’, premiering in cinemas on October 8. Set two decades after the previous films, the story revisits original protagonists Cláudio (Tony Ramos) and Helena (Glória Pires), who are now older and traveling on a second honeymoon.

The central plot shifts to a new generation, focusing on their daughter Bia (Cleo Pires) and her husband Aquiles (Rafael Infante). The film utilizes the franchise’s signature body-swap premise, as Bia and Aquiles experience an identity inversion that forces them to navigate each other’s professional and personal lives.

Directed by Anita Barbosa, the production aims to explore themes of empathy and partnership through the lens of modern relationship challenges. While the original director Daniel Filho serves as artistic supervisor, the film emphasizes the perspectives of the younger characters to refresh the series.
