Seaburano Kami expands outside Kyoto with new Shibuya location

Globeat Japan has opened its first location outside of Kyoto Prefecture, bringing the ramen brand Seaburano Kami to Shibuya Center-gai. The new Shibuya branch serves as a brand antenna shop aimed at reaching domestic and international customers, including younger demographics and tourists.

Seaburano Kami specializes in a Kyoto-style interpretation of Niigata’s Tsubame-Sanjo ramen, featuring a soy-based soup enriched with seafood umami and a generous layer of back fat. The menu includes signature back fat niboshi ramen, pork and seafood tsukemen, and mazesoba. The shop utilizes high-quality ingredients, such as noodles from Kyoto’s Menya Teigaku and a blend of four types of domestic dried bonito.

In addition to the ramen shop, a new takeout-only specialty rice ball business, Omusubi no Kami, is scheduled to open at the same location on September 18, 2026. This outlet will feature rice from Kyoto’s Hachidaime Gihey and seaweed from the Seto Inland Sea.
