Searching families invite EZLN to meeting in Mexico City

Searching families collectives associated with the 'Glorieta de los Desaparecidos' in Mexico City have issued a public invitation to the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (EZLN) to hold a meeting on December 6. The proposed meeting is set for 11:00 AM at the Glorieta de los Desaparecidos, a site occupied by activists since May 2022 to honor the memory of the missing.

The invitation follows a previous announcement by the EZLN regarding a planned trip to Mexico City to connect with searching mothers and support various activities. The families seek to discuss mutual actions taken to address the humanitarian crisis involving more than 130,000 reported missing persons. The collectives expressed a desire to share their efforts to denounce the crisis and listen to the Zapatista movement's perspective in a spirit of respect and solidarity.
