Seasonal autumn menus launched in Tomakomai and Tokyo

In Tomakomai, Hokkaido, the restaurant ‘Kaoru Tsukke Soba Sobahana’ has begun serving new autumn buckwheat soba. The menu features ‘Kitawase’ variety from Numata, characterized by its dark color and coarse grind to enhance aroma.

As part of the ‘10th New Soba Tasting Tour Stamp Rally,’ six establishments in Tomakomai, including ‘Ikkyu Soba Sohonten’ and Aeon Mall Tomakomai, are participating in a 50-day event running from October 1 to November 19, 2026. The rally offers discounts and lottery prizes based on the number of stamps collected from different regional soba varieties.

In Tokyo, the Indian restaurant Sitaara Aoyama has introduced a seasonal autumn menu. The offerings include dishes such as persimmon and apricot salad, kebab platters featuring seasonal oysters and shrimp, mushroom and nut curry, and duck with beetroot curry.
