Seat and Cupra post record earnings and launch new Raval model as VW expands in Chile
Seat and its performance brand Cupra reported an operating profit of €122 million for the first half of 2026, an increase of €84 million over the previous year, highlighting the success of their innovation‑focused strategy. Cupra introduced the Raval, a sport‑styled electric hatchback priced from €25,995, offering battery options of 37 kWh and 52 kWh and a range of up to 450 km, with power outputs between 116 hp and 226 hp.
Porsche Holding Chile, the local importer for Volkswagen Group brands including Seat, Cupra and Volkswagen, said under CEO Daniel Rojas it grew 15.5 % in 2025, outpacing the Chilean market’s 5 % increase. The growth was driven by new model launches across its portfolio, especially Volkswagen, while Cupra contributed to the broader brand competitiveness in the premium segment.
