Seattle Seahawks hold first full‑pad practice of 2024 training camp

The Seattle Seahawks conducted their first full‑pad practice of the 2024 training camp on Thursday at the VMAC, the first such session since their Super Bowl LVIII victory. Head coach Mike Macdonald praised the day’s weather and atmosphere, noting the presence of bald eagles and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flying overhead.

Standout participants included veteran receiver Cooper Kupp, defensive tackle Byron Murphy II, and quarterback Sam Darnold, who showed increased decisiveness and accuracy in his first camp as Seattle’s starter. Other notable players mentioned were rookie safety Bud Clark, cornerback Devon Witherspoon, and safety Nick Emmanwori, who returned to the sidelines after ankle surgery.
