Sebastian Stan discusses role in The Batman: Part II
Actor Sebastian Stan has addressed speculation regarding his role in the upcoming film ‘The Batman: Part II’. During an appearance on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Stan jokingly responded to questions about his character by stating, “I’m Batman. Who else would I be?”, though his actual role remains officially undisclosed.
Stan revealed that his casting in Matt Reeves’ sequel came after Reeves saw his work in ‘The Apprentice’. The actor noted that he had previously been attempting to secure a role within James Gunn’s DC Universe before being offered the part in the Reeves-led production. Stan described the project as highly ambitious and expressed strong confidence in Reeves’ vision, noting that the director has spent three years developing the script.
‘The Batman: Part II’ is slated for release on February 18, 2028. The film will feature Robert Pattinson returning as Bruce Wayne, alongside Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and Andy Serkis.
