Sebrae opens innovation-focused units in Presidente Prudente and Osasco

On 5 August, Sebrae inaugurated its first dedicated innovation unit in Presidente Prudente, located at the Fundação Inova Prudente. The centre will provide mentorship, training, events and connections for startups, students, micro‑enterprises and creative‑economy entrepreneurs. The project is a partnership between Sebrae‑SP, the municipal government, Fundação Inova Prudente, the local technology incubator and the commercial association. According to regional manager José Carlos Cavalcante, the unit will strengthen the local innovation ecosystem.

Earlier, Sebrae‑SP and the Osasco municipality opened the Sebrae Aqui Osasco Inovação, the first Sebrae centre in the region focused exclusively on digital transformation and innovation. Housed at the SETIDE headquarters on Avenida dos Autonomistas, the centre offers free in‑person assistance for business creation, regularisation, productivity improvement and access to innovation programmes for micro‑entrepreneurs across 15 municipalities. Manager Marina Fortuna said the unit is essential for Osasco’s role as a business hub.
