Sebrae drives new entrepreneurship and job fair programs across Brazil

The Brazilian micro‑enterprise agency Sebrae launched several initiatives to boost startups and employment. In Bahia, the Startups Conectadas event linked local startups with upcoming missions to HackTown, Startup Summit and Deep Tech Summit in 2026. Sebrae‑SP opened free registrations for the UN‑backed Empretec entrepreneurship seminars in Osvaldo Cruz, Lucélia and other towns in the western São Paulo region.

Municipal job fairs were also expanded. Manaus’ Sine offered 512 new job openings, while São José dos Pinhais hosted a hiring fair with more than 1,200 vacancies. Maringá’s employment day presented over 700 positions, and Londrina facilitated micro‑entrepreneur participation at the Feira do Empreendedor Sebrae with transport vouchers and networking sessions featuring speakers such as João Branco and Caito Maia.

A startup focused on deliveries to Brazilian favelas, Delivery das Favelas, announced plans to handle 8,000 orders daily by 2026 after securing contracts at the São Paulo Innovation Week. Additional programs include a free online course for women entrepreneurs and a market‑focused fair for atypical mothers, all aiming to strengthen small‑business activity nationwide.
