Secret Service moves Donald Trump to different aircraft in Ankara

The Secret Service conducted a covert security operation in Ankara, Turkey, to relocate President Donald Trump to a different aircraft following intelligence regarding a potential threat to his life. Reports indicate that Israel provided warnings to the CIA concerning a possible Iranian assassination plot involving a shoulder-fired missile targeting the presidential aircraft.

While CIA analysts reportedly viewed the Israeli intelligence as having low credibility, the Secret Service proceeded with a rapid contingency plan. After a NATO summit, Trump was reportedly moved from Air Force One via a catering vehicle to a military C-32A aircraft. The C-32A, carrying Trump and several close aides, flew to a military base in the United Kingdom under F-16 fighter escort, while the official Air Force One departed separately.

Trump later confirmed the change in transport, stating, “I am just doing what they tell me,” noting that he follows the instructions of the Secret Service and the military. Some U.S. officials expressed concerns that the intelligence provided by Israel may have been intended to influence American policy toward the region.
