Secure Your Home Wi‑Fi and Boost 4G/5G Coverage in Brazil

Brazilian residents can protect their home Wi‑Fi from unauthorized use by checking the router’s connected‑device list, using manufacturer apps, or third‑party tools such as WiFi Guard, Wireless Network Watcher or Fing. They can also disconnect all personal devices and observe any remaining connections, then block unknown MAC addresses, change the network password and enable MAC filtering to prevent future intrusions.

For homes suffering poor mobile reception, a legal 4G/5G signal amplifier can extend coverage to 300‑600 m². The system combines an external antenna, a central amplifier and a coaxial cable; the antenna captures the weakest available signal, the amplifier boosts it, and the device rebroadcasts it indoors. Anatel‑certified units must include automatic gain control to avoid network interference. Amplifiers remain important even where fiber or Wi‑Fi exist, ensuring reliable voice calls for emergencies and SMS‑based authentication for banking and other services.
