Security chief Michael Gallagher found dead in Tabarre

Michael Gallagher, the 63-year-old American security chief for Comme Il Faut S.A., was found dead in his office on August 19, 2026, at the company's site in Clercine, Tabarre.

Preliminary investigations suggest the death may have resulted from a knife attack. Following the discovery of the body, the Direction centrale de la police judiciaire (DCPJ) intervened and detained twelve security agents for questioning to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible.

Comme Il Faut S.A. released a statement expressing profound grief for the loss of Gallagher, who had been with the company for 14 years. The company stated it is “collaborating fully with police and judicial authorities” to clarify the incident and has requested discretion to preserve the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
