Pakistani security forces have conducted multiple intelligence-based operations across Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of dozens of militants. In the Washuk district, two terrorists linked to Fitna al-Hindustan were killed in the Palantak area. These individuals were reportedly involved in previous attacks on the Mashkhel police station and a local Customs House. During this operation, a vehicle was destroyed and weapons and ammunition were recovered.

In separate incidents in the Chagai and Pishin districts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that 21 terrorists were killed. In Chagai, 11 militants from Fitna al-Hindustan were neutralized after attempting to set up an illegal extortion checkpoint on the N-40 Quetta-Taftan Highway. In Pishin, 10 terrorists from Fitna al-Khawarij were killed following a coordinated attack on a Customs House. These clashes resulted in the deaths of six personnel, including two security officers and a Customs Department official.

Recent data from the Centre for Research and Security Studies (CRSS) indicates a surge in violence in the region, noting that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan accounted for nearly 96% of Pakistan's violence-related fatalities during the second quarter of 2026.
