Sedico investigates disappearance of dozens of cats

In Sedico, the mysterious disappearance of numerous domestic cats has sparked significant concern among local pet owners. The animal welfare association Aidaa (Associazione italiana difesa animali e ambiente) has confirmed at least 22 cases, though the total number of missing cats may be between 25 and 30.

The discovery of animal remains in the area has intensified fears, leading some to suspect a “serial slaughter.” While the sudden cessation of disappearance reports has raised questions about a potential pattern, Aidaa officials emphasize that there is currently no definitive evidence to confirm a specific cause. The association is calling for a comprehensive investigation into the incidents.
