SEDIF Puebla invests 33.5 million pesos in cochlear processors
The State System for Integral Family Development (SEDIF) in Puebla has reactivated the update process for cochlear hearing processors, benefiting 65 families. The initiative involves an investment of 33.5 million pesos to provide advanced hearing technology to children, adolescents, and young adults.
This program addresses a long-standing need, with some families having waited up to eight years for these updates due to previous administrative suspensions. Beneficiaries include residents from Puebla City and various municipalities, such as Izúcar de Matamoros and Zaragoza.
Before receiving the new devices, which include high-end technology like the RONDO 3 processor, recipients underwent evaluations by specialized audiologists to ensure the equipment met their specific auditory requirements.
