SEGA announces Brazil-inspired map for Crazy Taxi: World Tour

SEGA has announced that the upcoming title ‘Crazy Taxi: World Tour’ will feature a map inspired by Brazil. Revealed during the Brasil Game Show 2026, the announcement was made by Kenji Kanno, the creator of the original franchise and producer of the new game.

The Brazilian setting will be the fourth of five available maps in the single-player ‘World Tour’ campaign. The environment is designed to blend busy urban streets, coastal regions, and natural landscapes. In a nod to the franchise’s tradition of featuring real-world establishments, the map will include recognizable Brazilian brands such as the restaurant chain Habib’s, the steakhouse Fogo de Chão, and the electronics retailer Fast Shop.

Early previews of the game indicate that the title maintains the core mechanics of the original series, focusing on precise controls and high-speed, chaotic driving to transport passengers against the clock within an open-world structure.
