SEGA reveals Germany map and multiplayer for Crazy Taxi: World Tour
SEGA has revealed new details for the upcoming game Crazy Taxi: World Tour, including Germany as the first confirmed international location. The new map features diverse environments such as historical villages, castles, and the Autobahn. Players will encounter branded locations like PUMA and ZWILLING within the game world.
At Gamescom 2026, SEGA also showcased multiplayer modes, including a 'Pickup Race' where up to six players compete for passengers and earnings. The game will feature returning characters Axel, Gena, B. D. Joe, and Gus, alongside a soundtrack featuring tracks from Bad Religion and The Offspring.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour is scheduled for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), and Nintendo Switch 2. A closed multiplayer network test is scheduled for September 11–13, with registration open until August 31.
