SEGA reveals Brazil map for Crazy Taxi: World Tour

SEGA has announced that Brazil will be featured as a major location in the upcoming game Crazy Taxi: World Tour. The reveal took place during the Brasil Game Show 2026 press conference.

Produced by original creator Kenji Kanno, the Brazilian map serves as the fourth of five environments in the single-player World Tour campaign. The setting is designed to reflect the country's diverse landscapes, ranging from dense urban streets and favelas to vibrant coastlines and natural scenery. The trailer suggests gameplay involving various regions, including Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, and Foz do Iguaçu.

In keeping with the franchise's tradition of including real-world commercial references, the map will feature recognizable Brazilian brands such as Habib’s, Fogo de Chão, and Fast Shop.

Crazy Taxi: World Tour is scheduled for a 2027 release. It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam and Xbox), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, and will support the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
