Sei to integrate Dinari tokenized S&P 500 equities
Sei is planning to integrate Dinari’s tokenized U.S. equities, known as dShares, onto its Layer 1 blockchain. This integration aims to connect self-custodied crypto wallets with traditional stock markets, allowing eligible U.S. investors to access all constituents of the S&P 500 using the USDC stablecoin.
Dinari’s dShares are backed by corresponding securities held in qualified custody. The tokens are designed to preserve traditional ownership rights, such as dividends and corporate actions, with voting rights subject to specific conditions. Rather than being purely synthetic products, these tokens function as on-chain records that mirror securities positions held off-chain by broker-dealers or clearing firms.
While a specific launch date has not been announced, the move expands Sei’s real-world asset strategy. Dinari currently supports 724 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs across various networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Avalanche.
