Sei Network integration of tokenized U.S. equities
Overview
Sei Network is working to integrate Dinari’s tokenized U.S. equities, referred to as dShares, onto its Layer 1 blockchain. This initiative aims to bridge self-custodied crypto wallets with traditional stock markets, providing eligible U.S. investors access to the S&P 500 and over 700 other tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs using the USDC stablecoin.
These dShares are backed 1:1 by securities held in qualified custody by a registered U.S. broker-dealer. The tokens function as on-chain records mirroring off-chain positions, designed to preserve traditional ownership rights such as dividends and corporate actions. The expansion is intended to increase network liquidity and enhance the availability of real-world assets within the Sei ecosystem.
