Seiko Epson reaches 100 million EcoTank printer sales milestone

Seiko Epson Corporation has reached a major milestone, with cumulative sales of its EcoTank ink tank printer series surpassing 100 million units worldwide since its introduction in 2010.

Indonesia played a pivotal role in this achievement as the first country to introduce Epson’s ink tank technology to the global market. Since its inception in Indonesia, the EcoTank innovation has expanded to more than 170 countries and regions, serving home users, small businesses, and large corporations.

The EcoTank series is designed to provide a more economical and efficient alternative to conventional cartridge-based printers. By utilizing high-capacity ink tanks and a practical refill system, the technology offers lower operational costs and helps reduce plastic waste by decreasing reliance on single-use cartridges.
