Seiko Epson EcoTank printer market developments

Seiko Epson Corporation announced that its EcoTank ink tank printer series has surpassed 100 million cumulative units sold worldwide since its 2010 debut. Indonesia was noted as the first country to introduce this technology, which has since expanded to over 170 countries and regions.

Following this milestone, Epson expanded its EcoTank lineup in Indonesia with the introduction of the L1310 and L1350 models, scheduled for release in September 2026. Designed for home users, micro-businesses, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs), these models feature a compact design and an easier ink refilling system using 65 ml CMYK dye ink bottles.

Technical specifications for the new models include print speeds of up to 11.0 ipm for black and white documents and 6.0 ipm for color. The ink capacity allows for the production of up to 4,700 black pages and 7,500 color pages. Syahrizal Aprianto, Head of Product Marketing Printer for Epson Indonesia, stated that the development of the EcoTank series aims to provide a “faster, more efficient, and reliable experience to support daily productivity.”
