Selim Yılmaz elected Chairman of Çarşamba Commodity Exchange

Selim Yılmaz has officially assumed the role of Chairman of the Çarşamba Commodity Exchange (ÇTB) following elections held on October 1. In a formal handover ceremony, the outgoing Chairman, Kazım Yılmaz, presented the official seal to Selim Yılmaz, symbolizing the transfer of institutional responsibility.

The new administration includes Abdülkerim Pala and Musa Taşan as Vice Chairmen, Bekir Atsan as Treasurer, and Selim Sağlam as a Board Member. The leadership team will serve a four-year term.

In his inaugural remarks, Selim Yılmaz outlined a strategic roadmap focused on enhancing the economic and commercial strength of the Çarşamba region. He specifically emphasized the goal of adding more value to the hazelnut sector, which serves as a vital artery for the local economy. The new board intends to support producers, merchants, and industrialists through collaborative projects and member-focused services.
