SENA invests over 4 million pesos in Nariño entrepreneurship program

The National Learning Service (SENA) announced a funding package exceeding 4.168 million Colombian pesos to support 33 new business plans in the Nariño department. The programme targets agro‑industrial, commercial and service sectors and is aimed at strengthening regional enterprise, fostering innovation and boosting the local economy.

The investment is expected to generate 118 direct jobs and includes seed‑capital grants, technical assistance and specialised advisory services. Priority is given to projects run by vulnerable groups, including people in reintegration processes and other marginalized populations, underscoring SENA’s commitment to inclusive economic development.
