Senamhi issues weather forecasts for Peru
The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (Senamhi) has released weather forecasts for various regions in Peru. In Lima, conditions are expected to be cloudy with temperatures ranging between 20°C and 24°C.
In the Puno region, officials report a higher thermal sensation of heat and clear skies for August 31. However, warnings have been issued for intense solar radiation and nocturnal frosts, particularly in high-altitude areas like Mazocruz. In the jungle zones of Carabaya and Sandia, temperatures are expected to reach between 32°C and 35°C through September 3, prompting recommendations to prevent heatstroke.
Looking ahead, there is an 80% probability of light to moderate rainfall across different sectors of the Puno region between September 4 and September 9, affecting both the jungle and inter-Andean valleys.
